Woah dude, if I offended you you should tell me so mate. I just tried to put things in perspective. I'm a nice guy, plenty of the guys/girls here will confirm that.

Listen guy, I definitely came at you too strongly. The post honestly came off very badly and while I'm one with fairly tough skin, I think it just hit too close to home. I know you are passionate to go back to school, but for me, the whole thing came off very tone deaf. Ultimately, I know you're a good dude, and didn't mean any harm. Sorry for the dust up, and the way I came across. Reports from twitter, news sources show that the protests tonight are the definition of peaceful and healing. I hope it continues to be this way. I just wish that kid didn't have to die, and those businesses didn't have to be destroyed in the process.

I genuinely am sorry man. The pictures from last night are haunting and remind me of things that are currently occurring in my homeland. Its bad enough that people look at me funny anytime I board a flight. Any interaction with the police evokes the same sort of experiences/emotions. The photos from last night only cemented it.
